A peaceful environment that supports movement, trust, and sensory discovery. Our youngest learners experience gentle routines and responsive care that build self-assurance and connection. Every moment is an opportunity to explore and grow.

Pre-Primary (2 – 3 years)

This bridge class helps toddlers become more independent while strengthening language and social skills. Teachers guide children toward self-care and early collaboration with others. Confidence and curiosity thrive as they prepare for the Primary classroom.

Primary (3 – 6 years)

The heart of Montessori learning. Students explore practical life, math, and literacy through tactile materials that encourage focus and creativity. Each child learns responsibility, respect, and joy in discovery at their own pace.

Lower Elementary (6 – 9 years)

Children begin to connect their academic lessons to the real world. Through research projects, storytelling, and group activities, they learn critical thinking, communication, and teamwork. Every child is encouraged to explore ideas deeply and confidently.

Upper Elementary (9 – 12 years)

Older students take on greater independence, mastering advanced studies and leadership opportunities. Long-term projects and real-world learning experiences support their preparation for middle school and beyond.

Parent Testimonials

Families describe our community as a place of care and discovery, where children grow with confidence and joy. These are some of what they have told us:

I love visiting my niece at her school! She is always so excited about the things she is learning about. The curriculum is rigorous and so engaging. A perfect balance for a 1st grader. The staff is friendly and welcoming. A wonderful place to learn!

Christine Troiano Barnes

Early meeting today so I had to drop kiddo off earlier than I prefer… but he is greeted with such joy and warmth that any worry or stress melts. If your heart doesn’t feel good and full when you drop your kiddo off at school with wonderful people like the teachers and administrators here, then you may want to check out Country Day Montessori.

Reilly O’Neale Smolinsky

It feels like home. My kids feel safe and loved by their teachers and the staff. They love school and they love learning!  I love that they get to work at their own level and pace- whether they are working above grade level or  they need extra time to grasp a concept.  This is our ninth year here and we still love it!
